NFCC Technical Response Conference

Venue: Pride Park, Derby
Time: 26th September 2019

More frequently the UK FRS attends a wide variety of incidents and Technical Response forms a huge part of our front-line daily response, both locally within each FRS but also nationally and sometimes internationally on behalf of the UK Government.

With that in mind the NFCC are pleased to announce we will be holding a National Technical Response Conference on 26th September at Pride Park in Derby which will coincide with the 2019 UKRO Challenges.  The conference will cover a number of technical response areas and will include both updates and developments on national work in relation to these areas.  Confirmed sessions include the below but we will add additional sessions in the coming weeks.

  • * NFCC Community Risk Programme
  • * Wildfires
  • * Tunnels and Underground Working
  • * Major national infrastructure
  • * UKRO
  • * Respiratory Protective Equipment and British Standards
  • * Professional Standards – what does it mean for us?
  • * NARU

Use the booking tab to book your place at what promises to be a sell-out event.  The event will begin at 10am and conclude at 4pm.  There will then be a VIP drinks reception for attendees at 5pm and an invitation to attend the opening ceremony for the UKRO challenges at 6pm.

Both the conference and opening ceremony for the UKRO 2019 challenges will take place at Pride Park.  You are also encouraged to stay on for the Friday UKRO challenges and support your teams taking part which will take place at Derbyshire FRS headquarters.  There are plenty of hotels both in Derby city centre and around Pride Park to suit all budgets which are a short 20 minute drive from Derbyshire FRS headquarters.
