We are delighted to announce that on 13th and 14th June, NFCC will be holding a conference covering Command, Communications and Connectivity in Belfast.

Over the two days we plan to cover a variety of topics around emergency response communications, looking at what are the future trends, challenges and solutions. We will see presentations on the current issues we face mixed with innovative solutions for the future in this area. The conference programme will include sessions from the NFCC Lead on Ops Comms, CFO Darryl Keen talking delegates through the NFCC priorities and projects including the role of the 999/112 Liaison Committee and how this committee is working with Government Departments and emergency services to develop a roadmap towards implementation of new technologies in control rooms. There will be presentations on Multi-Agency Incident Transfer and the replacement BT 999 Infrastructure. We will also have case studies such as the lessons learnt in command and communication from the 2018 North West moorland fires with a multi-agency context and presentations from other sectors on the future of their command and control systems. We will cover all aspects of command and communication tools including fireground radio (digital v’s analogue), ESN, 5G and the connectivity blackspot solutions it can offer and much more.

The event will run from 11am-5pm on 13th and 9.30am until 3pm on 14th. Due to limited numbers we can only accept bookings from FRS staff – there are sponsorship options available below, should commercial companies want to attend.
