Fire Fleet and Equipment Conference and Exhibition 2018

We are pleased to announce this year’s Fire Fleet and Equipment Conference and Exhibition will take place on 12-13 June 2018 at the Telford International Centre.

Please note the current early bird rates are for bookings received by 20th April.

This year we have taken the decision to co-locate the event with the NAPFM Conference and Exhibition so whilst our conference and exhibition for Fire will be a separate event we have the benefit of co-location with our police colleagues for networking etc.  Both sets of delegates can enter both Police and Fire Exhibitions.

The event will officially begin with an informal social evening on Monday 11th June taking place at the Telford International Centre (both police and fire will come together for this evening function).  Our Fire Conference and Exhibition will take place on Tuesday 12th and Wednesday 13th June from 9.30-5 on 12th and 9.30-4 on 13th.  The exhibition will be located in Hall 3 and the conference in the Ironbridge Suite directly above.  All Fire delegates and exhibitors coffee and lunch breaks will take place together in the foyer of Hall 3.  As in previous years each day will be made up of a mixture of conference sessions and exhibition viewing.  There will be a dinner for fire delegates and exhibitors in the Ironbridge Suite on the evening of Tuesday 12th June.


The conference agenda will be released soon but will see the following subjects covered over the two days:

-HMICFRS - What does inspection mean for Fleet

-Police and Fire Collaboration - case studies from 2 services, one service who went down the route of collaboration and one who didn't.

-Electric Vehicles

-Best Practice Guidance

-Risk Awareness/Driver Assessment

-Vehicle Inspection - MOTS/Exemptions

-New Dimensions - what are the future plans for the current ageing fleet of vehicles and equipment

There are two different package options available to book for delegates - one including two nights accommodation if you are arriving the night prior and one including accommodation for the night of 12th only. Details of what each package includes can be found on the booking tab under options.

Accommodation for Delegates will be provided at the International Hotel which is onsite.
