NFCC Autumn Conference 2017

We are pleased to announce this years NFCC Autumn Conference will take place on 10-12 September at Carden Park, Cheshire.

This is our main conference in the events calendar and the agenda will see some key speakers not to be missed.

The event will begin with an informal networking dinner on the evening of Sunday 10th for those arriving the night prior to the conference. Both the APFO and CFOA AGMs will take place for individual members between 9 and 10.30 am on the morning of Monday 11th September.

11am on Monday 11th will see the opening of the first NFCC Autumn Conference.  Monday’s sessions will include the launch of the NFCC Strategy, a session on the new Inspectorate and international speakers including the Inspector-General for Emergency Management, Victoria, Australia who will talk us through how their inspectorate was formed as a result of a major natural disaster in which there was considerable loss of life.

On Monday evening we will have a networking dinner with an after dinner speaker.  Please note this will not be a black tie awards dinner as in previous years.

The conference will continue on Tuesday morning and the sessions will have a strong political focus.  We have invited the new Police and Fire Minister, Nick Hurd MP to attend and give a keynote address and we will also be joined by Chloe Dunnett and David Lamberti.  Our Chair Roy Wilsher will give an update on the work achieved to date and also set out his future plans for the NFCC.  We will also see addresses from the Nations.  The conference will conclude with lunch on 12th.
