For all bookings, your booking will remain valid for the re-arranged date. Alternatively if you would like to cancel and receive a full refund please email quoting the event you wish to cancel and the name of your delegate.

Improving health and safety management by embedding a learning culture in an organisation.

Capturing and sharing learning from incidents is a vital process and an integral part of improving performance and the safety of the communities we serve and our workforce.

Bringing together many of the recommendations on improving the learning culture within the fire and rescue service, the NFCC have provided guidance and tools, to tackle current issues and monitor and prepare for emerging hazards. This includes the introduction of National Operational Learning.

National Operational Learning is a process designed to capture vital learning from incidents and through a stringent process and robust governance make recommendations in a timely fashion.  We want to ensure all FRS’s are fully engaged with and understand this process.

To support services embedding National Operational Learning and help us all learn from other industries, the National Fire Chiefs Council will be hosting an event on the 25 March exploring ways of developing a strong learning culture across the sector and demonstrate the benefits of engaging with National Operational Learning.

Supported by speakers from industry and the fire sector this event will look at the processes which have been adopted by the NFCC, some of the successes already achieved through National Operational Learning and what direction it will be taking in the future.

This paid for event is aimed at providing people working in or with the fire with a holistic view of how embedding a robust learning culture can improve performance and health and safety.

There is s small cost of £75 plus VAT per person to attend this important seminar to cover venue, catering and administration costs – book your place using the booking tab.
